Hello! My name is Tereza Bettinardi.

I was born in Southern Brazil in 1983. I hold a BA in Graphic Design from Federal University of Santa Maria, where I also studied Journalism.

Since moving to São Paulo in 2006, I have been working mainly in print, designing magazines and books. I'm also interested in writing as part of my graphic design practice, either through discussion or collaboration with other publications, events and blogs. In 2015, I participated in the Design Writing and Research Summer Intensive at School of Visual Arts, a two-week intensive devoted to research and writing about design.

Currently working as an independent designer, I had also been involved with teaching—from open workshops at Sesc Pompeia to classes at the continuing education program at Istituto Europeo di Design in São Paulo.

Recently I cofounded (along with Guilherme Falcão) a project called A Escola Livre, an experimental school of graphic design that aims to ignite a dialogue on new ways of practicing and teaching design.

This is my CV.
