We are a design studio communicating stories through meaningful graphic language.
Based in São Paulo, Brazil, the studio was founded in 2014 by Tereza Bettinardi, an award-winning designer with over 15 years of experience in the fields of editorial design, visual communication, graphic design, branding and environmental design. Tereza is also the founder and editor of Clube do Livro do Design, a virtual book club turned into a publishing house devoted to expanding the range of design books available in Portuguese.
We believe every project is an opportunity to collaborate and learn something new. Our design methodology is based on honest and insightful conversations. This is how we create visual identities, books, magazines, packaging, exhibition design, movies and much more. As an intentionally small studio, we can adapt fast, collaborate directly and create tailored work.
Tereza Bettinardi (she/her) is a designer and editor who lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil. Since 2014 she runs her own studio, which has since worked across different fields of design, including editorial, visual identity, packaging and environmental design.
In parallel to commissioned projects and as part of her interest in combining writing and graphic design practice, Tereza co-edited A Escola Livre: Entrevistas [vol.1], a book of interviews with several Brazilian graphic designers conducted as part of A Escola Livre (The Free School, 2014-18), an experimental educational project in design. She also wrote the chapter "Bea Feitler: The Sir to Ms. Years," published in Baseline Shift: Untold Stories of Women in Graphic Design History (Princeton Architectural Press, 2021).
Tereza has taught at several design schools in Brazil and regularly lectures at design conferences, universities and companies on subjects including editorial design, visual culture, design process and the political implications of a designer's day-to-day.
In 2020, she founded Clube do Livro do Design, a virtual book club turned into a publishing house devoted to expanding the range of design writings available in Portuguese.
